LAUD ERDA LE CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />HELD REMOTELY VIA TELECONFERENCE <br />Page 1 of 3 May 11, 2021 <br />Call to Order <br />Mayor Gaasch called the Regular City Council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />Roll Call <br />Councilors present: Jeff Dains, Duane Pulford, Andi Moffatt, Roxanne Grove, and Mayor Mary <br />Gaasch. <br />Councilor Absent: None <br />Staff present: Heather Butkowski, City Administrator; Jim Bownik, Assistant to the City <br />Administrator; and Miles Cline, Deputy City Clerk. <br />Approvals <br />Mayor Gaasch asked if there were any additions to the meeting agenda. Councilor Dains added <br />legislative updates to Additional Items. There being nothing else, Councilor Pulford moved and <br />seconded by Councilor Grove to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call <br />vote. <br />Mayor Gaasch asked if there were any corrections to the April 27, 2021 city council meeting <br />minutes. There being none, Councilor Dains moved and seconded by Councilor Grove to <br />approve the minutes of the April 27, 2021 city council meeting. Motion carried unanimously on <br />a roll call vote. <br />Mayor Gaasch asked if there were any questions on the claims. There being none, Councilor <br />Grove moved and seconded by Councilor Dains to approve the claims totaling $40,498.07. <br />Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. <br />Consent <br />Councilor Pulford moved and seconded by Councilor Grove to approve the Consent Agenda <br />approving Resolution No. 051121A — A Resolution Consenting to the Issuance of Revenue <br />Bonds by the Duluth Economic Development Authority and acknowledging the quarterly <br />investment report. Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. <br />Informational Presentations/Reports <br />C. City Council Updates <br />Mayor Gaasch stated that she is working with the Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br />on providing improved access to mental health services. The Association of Mayor is working to <br />improve policing and race and equity issues. <br />Public Hearings <br />A.
