LAUDERDALE CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />HELD REMOTELY VIA TELECONFERENCE <br />Page 3 of 3 May 11, 2021 <br />Finally, Dains shared that Congresswoman McCollum is putting forward Ramsey and <br />Washington County projects for American Rescue Plan dollars. <br />Set Agenda for Next Meeting <br />The May 25 council meeting may include an update on the public works management software <br />and awarding of the seal coating project. <br />Work Session <br />A. Community Development Update <br />Butkowski stated that the new riding lawn mower was delivered today. Butkowski met with the <br />Roseville engineer regarding possible route changes to Highway 280 in anticipation of a meeting <br />with Mn/DOT at the end of the month. Roseville may be interested in providing snow plowing <br />services for Lauderdale when our agreement with Ramsey County ends. Staff are working with <br />the city attorney on a waiver process for non -zoning related requests. The video created by CTV <br />regarding Seminary Pond will be released soon. <br />B. Opportunity for the Public to Address the City Council <br />Mayor Gaasch opened up the floor to anyone in attendance interested in addressing the Council. <br />Heather Brian, 1778 Eustis Street, hosted a community pickup event on Earth Day. She noted <br />they collected trash from 1795 Eustis Street and there is debris from broken windows there. <br />Erik Biever, 1803 Lake Street, inquired on whether blocking turns onto Broadway would curb <br />some of the drag racing issues on Highway 280. <br />Josh Dirksen, 1815 Lake Street, asked for more information regarding the upkeep efforts at 1795 <br />Eustis Street. <br />There being no others interested in speaking, Mayor Gaasch closed the floor. <br />Adjournment <br />Councilor Pulford moved and seconded by Councilor Moffatt to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 p.m. <br />Motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Miles Cline <br />Deputy City Clerk <br />
