3.14 City Facilities Collections — City will provide containers and Contractor will provide recycling service <br />for City facilities using standard recycling carts or dumpsters at no additional charge. Collection will <br />occur weekly unless more frequent collection is required based on the amount of materials <br />generated. <br />1. The Contractor shall collect recyclable material from the following City facilities: <br />Lauderdale City Hall, 1891 Walnut Street <br />Public Works Garage, 1917 Walnut Street <br />3.15 Matedal Composifion Study — The Contractor shall conduct at least one materials composition <br />analysis of the Citys recyclables, each year to estimate the relative amount of weight of each <br />recyclable commodity by grade. A City representative or designee -may be present dudng the study. <br />The results of this analysis shall include: (1) percent by weight of each recyclable commodity by <br />grade as collected. from the City; (2) relative change compared to the previous years compoon; <br />and (3) a description of the methodology used to calculate the composition, including number of <br />samples, dates weighed, and City route(s) used for sampling. <br />3.16 Estimating Process Residuals — The Contractor shall provide a written description of the means to <br />estimate process residuals derived from the Citys recyclables. This process shall be reviewed and <br />approved in writing by the City. This written description shall be updated by the Contractor <br />irnmediately.after any changes to the processing facilities used by the Contractor. <br />4.1 Monthly and Annual Materials Reports - The Contractor'shall submit to the City monthly reports <br />and annual reports dealing with the CVs recycling program. At a minimum, the Contractor shall <br />include in each report the following infon-nation: <br />1. Gross amounts of materials collected, by recyclable material (in tons). <br />2. Net amounts of materials marketed, by recyclable material (in tons). <br />3. Amounts stored, by recyclable material, with any notes as to unusual conditions <br />(in tons). <br />4. Amounts of process residuals disposed (in tons). <br />5. Revenue share credits back to the City (if any). <br />6. End market certification via letters from end markets. Such letters will be held as <br />confidential data if requested and allowed by law. <br />7. Monthly reports shall be due to the City by the 15th day of each month. <br />Annual reports shall be due by January 31 following the end of each calendar year. The <br />Contractor will be encouraged to include in its annual report recommendations for <br />continuous improvement in the City's recycling program (e.g., -public education, <br />multifamily recycling, etc.). <br />PAGE 6 OF 13 <br />
