An Ordinance Amending Title 4, Chapter 6 of the Lauderdale City Code Regardinw! <br />Health and Safety; Nuisances. <br />The City Council of the City of Lauderdale ordains as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The Lauderdale City Code, Title 4, Chapter 6, Section 4-6-01, is amended <br />as follows: <br />B. Snow, ice, dirt and rubbish. <br />1. Duty of owners and occupants. The owner and the occupant of any property <br />ad . acent to a public sidewalk shall use diligence to keep the walk safe for pedestrians. <br />J - <br />No owner or occupant shall allow snow, ice, dirt or rubbish to remain on the walk <br />longer than 4-224 hours after its deposit thereon. Failure to comply with this section <br />shall constitute a violation. <br />SECTION 2. The Lauderdale City Code, Title 4, Chapter 6, Section 4-6-14, is further <br />amended as follows: <br />B. All snow and ice not removed from public sidewalks 4-224 hours after the snow o <br />other precipitation causing the condition has ceased to fall; i <br />SECTION 3. Dumping, -plowing, blowing, or otherwise doositing snow from one <br />rivate property onto any other private property; <br />SECTION 4. The Lauderdale City Code, Title 4, Chapter 6, Section 4-6-14, is further <br />amended as follows: - <br />AB. Graffiti not removed within 72 hours. Graffiti shall mean an unautholized <br />wnting, printing, marks, SiRns, sM-ibols, figures, designs, inscriptions, or other dra <br />which are scratched, scrawled, -painted., drawn or otherwise placed on any exterior surface <br />of a building, wall, fence, sidewalk., curb,, dumpsters or other -pen-nanent structures on <br />-public or pfivate property and which has the effect of defacing the property. <br />U <br />
