Title 900, Chapter 905 of the Mounds View City Code is repealed. <br /> <br />Sec. 2. Title 900 of the Mounds View City Code is amended by adding a new chapter <br /> <br />to read: <br /> <br />CHAPTER 908 <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> <br />908.01 PURPOSE. This chapter is enacted to govern the conduct <br />of members of the public during their use and enjoyment of the Mounds View <br />Open Space System so as to further the safety, health, enjoyment and welfare of <br />all persons in the use of those facilities and to protect public property and <br />resources for posterity. <br /> <br />908.02 DEFINITIONS. As used in this chapter, the following <br />words and terms have the meanings ascribed to them in this section. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. "Open space site" means and refers to any park, reserve, <br />special use area, golf course, linear park or any other area owned, improved <br />maintained, operated or otherwise controlled by the City of Mounds View for <br />recreation and natural resource preservation purposes. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. "Park system" means and refers to the City of Mounds <br />View Park System which includes the sites and facilities owned, maintained, and <br />operated by or otherwise under the authority of the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />1 <br />
