<br />Ordinance 679 <br />Apri118,2001 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />a. A sign not exceeding ten (10) square feet in area, pertaining only to the sale, rental or lease <br />of the premises upon which displayed. <br /> <br />b. A sign on residential property stating only the name or identity of the occupant, 'vVhich sign <br />shall not exceed tv.'O (2) square feet in area. <br /> <br />c. A sign on property on '.vhich a public, charitable or religious institution is located, stating <br />the name and nature of the occupancy and information as to the conditions of use or <br />occupancy or a sign on such property used by the institution as a bulletin board, '.vrnch sign <br />shall not exceed ten (10) square feet in area. <br /> <br />c. Construction sign or sign belonging to a contractor performing work upon a property. <br />Such sign shall be removed immediately upon completion of the work. <br /> <br />d. A campaign sign as provided for in subdivision 1008.08(11) 10. Subd. 7 of this Chapter. <br />(1988 Code ~39.03; 1993 Code; Ord. 607, 5-11-98) <br /> <br /> e. <br /> f. <br /> g" <br />. h. <br /> <br />Home occupation signs and incidental residential signs. <br /> <br />National. state. regional, local. non-commercial institutional or cultural flags. <br /> <br />Advertising on a transit bench or within a transit shelter or enclosure. <br /> <br />Official notices authorized by a court. public body or public safety official. <br /> <br />1008.0400-: APPLICATION FOR PERMIT: Application for permits shall be made upon forms <br />provided by the Clerk-Administrator and shall include the following information: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. The name, address and telephone number of the applicant. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. The location of the building, structure or lot to which or upon which the sign is to be <br />placed. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. The position of the sign or other advertising structure in relation to nearby buildings, <br />structures and streets or highways, if necessary. <br /> <br />Subd. 4. Two (2) blueprints or ink drawings of the plans and specifications and method of <br />construction and attachment to the building ground. <br /> <br />Subd. 5. A copy of the stress sheets and calculations may be required by the Inspector, on larger <br />signs, showing that the structure is designed for dead load and wind pressure in any direction <br />in the amount required by this Chapter and any other applicable law. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Subd. 6. The name of the person erecting the structure, if not the applicant, or the name of the <br />person on whose property the structure is to be located, if not the applicant. <br /> <br />Subd. 7.
