Issuinq Authority <br /> ~ The Issuinq Authority for Wetland Alteration Permits shall be as <br /> set forth here after: <br /> h Administrative Issuinq Authority: The City Enqineer/Director <br /> of Public Works, or his desiqnee (Buildinq Inspector or City <br /> Planner) have the authority to issue wetland alteration <br /> permits which meet the standards in this chapter if: <br /> ~ The permit requests repair or maintenance of any lawful <br /> use of land existinq on the date of adoption of this <br /> Chapter. <br /> b. Alterations within the wetland buffer zone do not extend <br /> into or impact the adiacent wetland. <br /> ~ The permit requests public and/or private utility work <br /> on existinq facilities. <br /> and for the followinq work within the wetland buffer zone, but <br /> . outside of the wetland not havinq adverse impacts upon the <br /> wetlands. <br /> ~ Installation and maintenance of fences. <br /> b. Landscapinq not includinq impervious surfaces <br /> ~ Detached qaraqes and accessory buildinqs. <br /> sh Gra din q which does not adversely alter storm water <br /> storaqe capacity, storm water flow direction or runoff <br /> intensity. <br /> ~ Temporary structures not requirinq permanent foundations <br /> or pads for support. <br /> II. The City Council may issue permits which meet the standards <br /> in this Chapter and are beyond the scope of the administrative <br /> approval above; which have been reviewed by City staff and <br /> referred to Council; or which are appealed to Council after <br /> havinq been reviewed and denied by City staff. <br /> . 2362161/WZ02.WP/ABM 15 <br />
