<br />1006.01: PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
<br />Subd. 'I. Permit Required: Before
<br />proceeding with the construction,
<br />enlargement, alteration, repair, moving,
<br />improvement, removal, conversion er
<br />demolition of any' building or structure,
<br />the owner or agent sliall first obtain a
<br />permit for such purprse from the Building
<br />Inspector. Upon the recommendation of
<br />the Clerk-Administrator, the Council shall
<br />designate all work for evhich permits shall
<br />be required under this provision of the
<br />Code.
<br />Subd. 2. Exceptions: A building permit
<br />and permit fee shall not be required for
<br />any wvrk having a valuation less then
<br />three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00),
<br />except for the following, which will require
<br />a permit regardless of the valuation of the
<br />work: (Ord. 508, 4-27-92)
<br />a. Any proposed wvrk that wilt create
<br />new structural framework, alter existing
<br />structural framework or cause the use or
<br />occupancy of any existing building. (Ord.

<br />Valuation: Building valuation, for the

<br />determined by the Building Inspector
<br />based on Building Inspector's estimate of
<br />the materials cost and the labor cost to
