To Approve Resolution 6251, a Proclamation for National <br />Police Week. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Introduction of the New Mounds View Police Officers <br />Chief Sommer introduced the new police officers to the City of Mounds View and gave a brief <br />history of all three. <br />Mayor Linke welcomed the new officers to the City. <br />C. Resolution 6236, a Resolution of Appreciation for Boy Scout Pack 367 for <br />their hard work and dedication in making the City of Mounds View a <br />Cleaner Place. <br />• <br />City Administrator Ulrich read Resolution 6236. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Stigney. To Approve Resolution 6236, a Resolution of <br />Appreciation for Boy Scout Pack 367 for Hard Work and Dedication in Making the City of <br />Mounds View a Cleaner Place. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />D. Tony Bennett (District 1) and Jan Wiessner (District 2) Ramsey County <br />Commissioners <br />• <br />Commissioner Bennett addressed Council and indicated that there appears to be support for a <br />suburban court at 694 and Rice Street. <br />Council Member Marty asked whether the City could get help from the County with a stoplight <br />at Silver Lake Road and County Road H and a semaphore at Sunnyside School. <br />Commissioner Bennett indicated he would provide any assistance that he could but <br />recommended that the City contact Dan Solar. <br />Council Member Quick asked for an update on the arsenal property. <br />Commissioner Bennett explained how the property is planned to be utilized. <br />Commissioner Wiessner provided informational packets to Council and residents in attendance <br />and briefly reviewed the information in them. She then emphasized that the biggest issue facing <br />the County is budget restrictions. <br />
