To Approve Resolution 6231, a Resolution Approving a <br />• Step Increase for David Parker as Amended. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />G. Resolution 6243 Approving a Cooperative Agreement between the City of <br />Spring Lake Park and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for <br />the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier <br />Council Member Gunn asked for clarification as to how the policing of the park would go. <br />Chief Sommer explained that policing of the park would be in the same manner as any border <br />street in that Mounds View Officers can enforce the laws within the park and both cities would <br />patrol it. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6243, a <br />Resolution Approving a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Spring Lake Park and the <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />H. Resolution 6178, a Resolution Authorizing the Development of a Request for <br />Proposal for the Work Associated with the Implementation of the County <br />Road 10 Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan <br />Council Member Marry asked Staff to provide an explanation of this item. <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that the Resolution would authorize the hiring of a <br />consultant to be directed by Council to work on the design and implementation of the Highway <br />10 redevelopment and revitalization plan. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6178, a <br />Resolution Authorizing the Development of a Request for Proposal for the Work Associated with <br />the Implementation of the County Road l0 Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan. <br />Council Member Stigney asked for clarification of what this would be for. He then said that, if <br />this is implementing the plan, he disagrees with the plan and would not agree with this matter. <br />Council Member Quick asked for a potential cost amount. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that the costs would be up to Council as the work directed <br />to be done dictates the costs involved. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would prefer to work on the plan before hiring a <br />consultant to implement a plan that he has issues with. <br />
