Resolution 6243 Approving a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Spring Lake Park and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier Council Member Gunn asked for clarification as to how the policing of the park would go. Chief Sommer explained that policing of the park would be in the same manner as any border street in that Mounds View Officers can enforce the laws within the park and both cities would patrol it. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6243, a Resolution Approving a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Spring Lake Park and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. H. Resolution 6178, a Resolution Authorizing the Development of a Request for Proposal for the Work Associated with the Implementation of the County Road 10 Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan Council Member Marry asked Staff to provide an explanation of this item. Public Works Director Lee explained that the Resolution would authorize the hiring of a consultant to be directed by Council to work on the design and implementation of the Highway 10 redevelopment and revitalization plan. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6178, a Resolution Authorizing the Development of a Request for Proposal for the Work Associated with the Implementation of the County Road l0 Redevelopment and Revitalization Plan. Council Member Stigney asked for clarification of what this would be for. He then said that, if this is implementing the plan, he disagrees with the plan and would not agree with this matter. Council Member Quick asked for a potential cost amount. Public Works Director Lee indicated that the costs would be up to Council as the work directed to be done dictates the costs involved. Council Member Stigney indicated that he would prefer to work on the plan before hiring a consultant to implement a plan that he has issues with.
