precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or <br />airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. <br />The employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel or <br />operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms and occasionally climb or <br />balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; taste or smell. Visual acuity sufficient to evaluate field <br />conditions, construction practices and work done, and plans and drawings is necessary, as is <br />the ability to communicate orally in person and over the telephone. Specific vision abilities <br />include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the <br />ability to adjust focus. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and <br />occasionally up to 100 pounds. <br />SELECTION GUIDELINES <br />Formal application and resume, rating of education and experience, oral interview and reference <br />check; job related tests may be required. <br />The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may <br />be performed.
