RESOLUTION 7553 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY POLICY FOR NON-REQUIRED <br />RESIDENTIAL FIRE SPRINKLER PERMITS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View recognizes the importance, value and life <br />saving abilities of fire sprinkler systems; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View wants to encourage property owners to install fire <br />sprinkler systems whenever possible; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council discussed a City staff proposal to revise the City <br />policies about the permits and permit fees for those who install voluntarily such systems <br />at the January 4, 2010, City Council Work Session; and <br />WHEREAS, it was the consensus of the City Council at the January 2010 Work <br />Session to amend the City policies about the permit fees for the voluntary installation of <br />such systems to waive the City fees for the permits for the installation of such systems. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve the attached City policy about Non-required fire sprinkler system permits. <br />Adopted this 11th day of January, 2010. <br />e , <br />ATTEST: <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
