~ <br />Mounds View City Council January 2, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br />7. COUNCIL BUSINESS • <br />A. Resolution 6492 Selection of the Official Newspaper, Acting Mayor, <br />Treasurer and Official Depositories for 2007 <br />Assistant to the City Administrator Crane reviewed Resolution 6992 for Council and <br />recommended that The Bulletin be considered as the Official Newspaper due to the lower rate. <br />Mayor Marky nominated Council Member Stigney as Acting Mayor. <br />Council agreed. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6992, <br />Selection of the Official Newspaper, Acting Mayor, Treasurer and Official Depositories for 2007 <br />as Amended to include The Bulletin as the Official Newspaper and to Select Council Member <br />Stigney as Acting Mayor. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />B. Resolution 6993 Appointing City Council Members and City Staff <br />Representatives for City Commissions and other Organizations <br />Assistant to the Ci Administrator Crane reviewed the Staff re ort and asked the Council to • <br />~Y P <br />consider the necessary appointments to complete the Resolution. <br />Council Member Mueller agreed to attend the Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br />meetings. <br />Council Member Stigney agreed to attend the Spring Lake Park/Blaine/Mounds View Firemen's <br />Relief Association meetings. <br />Council Members Flaherty and Stigney will remain on the Human Resources Committee. <br />Council Members Flaherty and Hull will meet as the YMCA Advisory Committee. <br />Council Member Hull agreed to attend the Northwest Youth and Family Services meetings. <br />Mayor Marty will continue on I-35 Corridor and League of Minnesota Cities and North Metro <br />Mayors. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Hull.
