Mounds View City Council March 12, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 13 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />David Jahnke asked if the Chief asked for this. <br />Council indicated that he did. <br />Mayor Marty indicated that the Chief said that this was a request from the department. <br />Council Member Flaherty said he appreciated the residents' comments but he did not get the <br />impression that this would mean a lot to the department to have this done. He then said that if <br />this is something that the police force feels strongly about then he would agree that this should be <br />done for them but he has not gotten that impression. He further said that he would invite the <br />Chief to come back and discuss this further. <br />Mayor Marty asked that Chief Sommer report back to the Council on the importance of this issue <br />for the Department. <br />Ayes -1 (Marty) Nays - 4 <br />Motion failed. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Hull. To Approve Resolution 7041, Approving Purchase of a <br />Replacement White Marked Squad Car. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />Nays - 0 <br />Motion carried. <br />H. Resolution 7044, Approving a Restaurant License for Little Caesar's Pizza <br />Located at 2581 County Highway 10 <br />Council Member Mueller asked if there was going to be any change in the way that the business <br />will be run that may require other conditions before the transfer is complete such as a fire <br />inspection. <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that all Code requirements will be met before the transfer <br />goes through. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. To Approve Resolution 7044, Approving a Restaurant <br />License for Little Caesar's Pizza Located at 2581 County Highway 10. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />Council Member Flaherty asked about the expenditure for the warming house and asked how <br />many more payments there will be. <br />Council Member Flaherty asked what the tabs on Page 7 were for. <br />Finance Director Beer indicated that it was for two vehicles. <br />
