Mounds View City Council Apri19, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 12 <br />Council Member Flaherty said that under that premise he is wondering if Walgreen's will have to <br />come back or the City's sign or any of them if there are changes made to the sign Ordinance. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that none of the other signs have new LED technology and, <br />whatever the City comes up with for safety, he does not think that any of the other signs will <br />have an issue. <br />Mayor Marty noted that the requirements are that the sign regulations will be amended if there <br />are any issues identified by the City for safety. <br />Mayor Mariy would like to add a number 8 that any changes or directives from the League of <br />Minnesota Cities or the City will be addressed at a later date. <br />Council Member Flaherty suggested modifying number 5 to add existing or updated codes. <br />Mayor Marty suggested language for content andlor regulations. <br />Director Ericson said it would be cleaner to add a number 8 that states that the owner will be <br />required to make any necessary changes to the sign based on any changes to the sign ordinance <br />after the moratorium. <br />The motion and second agreed to the amendment. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion to amend the Resolution as indicated carried. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion to approve the Resolution carried. <br />J. Resolution '7063, Awarding a Construction Contract for the Oakwood Park <br />Improvement Project - Phase 1 <br />Public Works Director Lee addressed Council and expiained that ~ids were received and the <br />Staffing report was updated to include the low bidder of Peterson Companies. He then explained <br />what the project includes and noted that the bids were very favorable. <br />MOTION/SECOND: MuellerlMarty. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7063, <br />Awarding a Construction Contract for the Oakwood Park Improvement Project - Phase 1. <br />Ayes - S Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />K.
