The Chief has said that until
a week ago Monday this was not brought to his attention so he had no idea there was a problem.
Mr. Hammes said that he thinks that no stopping or parking at specific times would work better.
He then said that if the police could get behind this would help, as they were not interested in
saying anything to the people that were there.
6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUISNESS
None.
7. COUNCIL BUSINESS
A. Public Hearing to Consider the Preliminary Plat for a Major Subdivision of
the Property Located at 8360 Long Lake Road
Planner Heller expiained that this item was befare the City previausly but the recording was not
finalized and now the property owner has come before the City for approval of this major
subdivision. She then said that this will add two new homes to the City and
possibly a third, if the person who purchases the third lot tears the existing home down and
rebuilds.
Planner Heller indicated that there are easements for utilities as required by Code and all three
lots will access onto Long Lake Road.
Planner Heller indicated that the park dedication fee was based on the addition of two lots and
utilities will need to be placed underground during construction.
Planner Heller indicated that one of the lots is heavily treed and the tree situation will be
discussed when someone comes in for a building permit. She also explained that they would be
asked to clean up the diseased trees on the site at that time.
Planner Heller indicated that residents were notified and there have been no concerns expressed
other than concern for tree loss.
Mayor Marty opened the public hearing. •
