Mounds View City Council Apri123, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br />. F. Resotution 7076, Recognizing Scotland Green, Sands and Silverwood <br />Apartments for Level B Certification in the Mounds View Multiple Dwelling <br />Licensing Program <br />Housing Inspector Anderson appeared before Council and recognized Scotland Green, Sands and <br />Silverwood Apartments for their efforts to attain Level B Certification in the Mounds View <br />Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7076, <br />Recognizing Scotland Green, Sands and Silverwood Aparrinents for Level B Certification in the <br />Mounds View Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />Housing Inspector Anderson noted that there were two additional applications that will be <br />coming before Council for approval. <br />G. Consider Resolution 7057, Approving a Development Review for an 11,000 <br />Square Foot Manufacturing/Production Building at Central Sandblasting, <br />2299 County Road H <br />• Community Development Director Ericson noted that this is a request for development review <br />for Central Sandblasting and they have been at this location since 1973 and are looking to expand <br />their facility. This would be a new building on the west side of the property to allow them to do <br />more work and get their materials inside to clean up the site. The property is 2.8 acres and is <br />zoned industrial. <br />Director Ericson said that Staff has reviewed parking, easements, and storm water runoff. He <br />then said that 45 Parking Stalls are required now and, with the expansion, 67 parking stalls <br />would be required. The site is either paved or fully graveled so there is adequate space available <br />for parking. <br />Director Ericson explained that the driveway is proposed along the easement and public works <br />approves, as long as the owner realizes that any restoration for work to be done in the easement <br />area is the responsibility of the property owner. <br />Director Ericson noted that grading and drainage plans have been reviewed by public works, and <br />Staff feels that this is a good plan. <br />Staff feels that, after review, the request meets all City Code requirements and Staff recommends <br />approval. <br />• Director Ericson read the conditions of approval from the Resolution. <br />Director Ericson requested that Council add a requirement for a development agreement. <br />
