He then said that Staff <br />feels that this will be an improvement. <br />Council Member Flaherty thanked them for providing jobs for the City. He then asked if this <br />will alleviate storing pallets outside. <br />The Applicant indicated that they will still need to store some things outside but this will be an <br />improvement. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7057, <br />Approving a Development Review for an 11,000 Square Foot Manufacturing/Production <br />Building at Central Sandblasting, 2299 County Road H as Amended to Include a Development <br />Agreement. <br />Council Member Mueller said she is happy that they are growing their business in town. <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />H. First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 786, an Ordinance Amending • <br />Chapter 1010 of the Mounds View Municipal Code Relating to Wetlands <br />Protection <br />Community Development Director Ericson explained that the proposed ordinance amendment <br />would clarify and strengthen the language in the Code that describes when a wetland alteration <br />permit would be required. He then said that the other change, as direction from Council, was to <br />make sure that Kennedy & Graven review this and provide additional teeth under enforcement <br />for violation and penalties. That additional language has been added. He then read it. <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether the Staff could put a copy of the Ordinance change in <br />water bills to inform residents. <br />Staff can do so. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Flaherty.
