Mayor Marty thanked Staff for bringing these to Council prior to the anniversary dates. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. J. Resolution 7033, Adopting City Vision and Mission Statement, Goals Program, Values Statement, Rules of Conduct, and Action Plan City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Council annually adopts its goals and mission statement. Mayor Marty indicated that this information was provided to residents at the town hall meeting. MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Hu11. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7033, Adopting a City Vision and Mission Statement, Goals Program, Values Statement, Rules of Conduct, and Action Plan. Council Member Stigney asked about rule number 8 of tl~e Rules of Conduct as he has issues with the language because he does not think that it is germane to what the Council does. • Council agreed that there was a wording change that does not appear in this version. Motion withdrawn. MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Marty. To Postpone Resolution 7033, Adopting a City Vision and Mission Statement, Goals Program, Values Statement, Rules of Conduct, and Action Plan. Council Member Mueller said that the original language said that council members praise in public and criticize in private and discipline. Council would like clarification. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. K. Resolution 7093, Supporting an Application for the Governor's 2008 Bonding Bill Toward the Highway 96, Highway 10 and County Road H Interchange Projects City Administrator Ulrich explained that this item was a request from Arden Hills for support of efforts to obtain state bonding money for the upgrade of the bridge across 35W at County Road H.
