Mounds View City Council June 11, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 12 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7093, • <br />Supporting an Application for the Governor's 2008 Bonding Bill Taward the Highway 96, <br />Highway 10 and County Road H Interchange Projects. <br />Council Member Flaherty said that he would like to help out a neighboring city and noted that <br />development of the TCAAP property will be a major undertaking for them. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />L. Resolution 8002, To Permit the PSO to Work Full Time Hours Through the <br />End of August <br />Community Development Director Ericson said that there is some concern amongst the residents <br />that there is a need to be out responding to complaints on nuisance code violations and there are <br />some properties going into foreclosure keeping staff very busy. Staff is recommending that the <br />PSO be allowed to work full time for the remainder of the sumrner and allow Staff to get a better <br />handle on some of these nuisance code violations. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Fla.herty. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 8002, <br />To Permit the PSO to Work Full Time Hours Through the End of August <br />Mayor Marty indicated that he was working in Spring Lake Park in the Lions food booth and he <br />met the Spring Lake Park Code Enforcement Inspector • <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />M. Resolution 8004, Awarding a Contract for the Oakwood and Hillview Park <br />Playground Equipment Replacement Projects <br />Public Works Director Lee reviewed the proposal to purchase new playground equipment at <br />Oakwood and Hillview Park. <br />Mayor Marty asked if there is any way to use resident volunteers to assist with assembly and <br />installation to reduce Staff time. <br />Mayor Marty asked if there is an additional cost for the more neutral earth tones. <br />Director Lee indicated that there would not be an additional charge. <br />Council Member Mueller asked for information of where the equipment would be installed for <br />Oakwood Park. <br />Director Lee pointed out the location on the map provided. <br />Council Member Mueller said that this would be an excellent project for an Eagle Scout. • <br />
