Resolution 7108, Adopting the Global Release and Settlement Agreement, • <br />Including Approval of Various Leases <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Staff is asking for an extension to the July 9, 2007 <br />meeting to allow Staff time to negotiate a final agreement. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7109, <br />Extending the Origina190 Day Deadline An Additional 10 Days to July 9, 2007. <br />Council Member Mueller said that she hates extending deadlines both personally and <br />professionally but, in this case, she feels that an extension is necessary. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />M. Resolution 7033, a Resolution Adopting the Vision & Mission Statement, <br />Goals Program and Values Statement, and Rules of Conduct <br />Mayor Marty pointed out that these were discussed at the City's Town Hall Meeting. <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he would like to consider each of the items separately. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Mueller. To Adopt the City's Vision & Mission Statement. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. ~ <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Adopt the Ciry's Goals Program. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Flaherty. To Adopt the City's Values Statement. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Adopt the City's Rules of Conduct. <br />Council Member Stigney said that this states Council Members praise in public and criticize in <br />private. He then said that there was an issue in another City that he recently read about in the <br />paper where a Council Member was reprimanded by the Council for speaking to an employee. <br />He further said that the individual members have no authority individually as it must be the <br />whole Council. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Mueller. To Amend to Delete Rule Number 8. <br />Council Member Flaherty said that this is an agreement to not chastise residents or staff in public • <br />at a public meeting and that is what this is meant to prohibit and that is a good rule of conduct. <br />
