Mounds View City Council June 25, 2007 Regular Meeting Page 16 1 Council Member Mueller said that if you have not read this week's Sun Focus, dated June 21, • 2 2007, on Page 26 there is a wonderful article written about the winner of the design a t-shirt 3 contest for the Festival in the Park. 4 5 Council Member Mueller noted that the car and tractor show registrations are due and there are 6 free goodie bags for the first 100 cars registered. 7 8 B. Reports of Staff 9 1. Fire Inspection Update 10 11 City Administrator Ulrich noted that this was in regard to restaurant licenses to be renewed and 12 there were two that need updated fire inspections and Staff believes they are coming into 13 compliance. 14 15 City Administrator Ulrich noted that Staff put together a list for the control room and Staff is 16 trying to have the cable staff go through the check list to help eliminate any issues with 17 production. 18 19 City Administrator Ulrich said that he would like to see if the City could use some Staff from 2o CTV to help with some of the technical issues the City has been experiencing. He then said that 21 he could bring back the figures for what it would cost for part time help. 22 23 City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the Ramsey County Fair is July 11 - 15, 2007 with City • 24 Day being Ju1y 14. 25 26 Community Development Director Ericson indicated that the Comprehensive Plan Task Force 2~ will meet July 18, 2007 and Staff will bring a Resolution forrnalizing the appointments to the 28 task force to the July 9, 2007 meeting. 29 3o Director Ericson indicated that interviews were conducted for the EDA position and he is hoping 31 to have a candidate for Council consideration at either the July 9 or July 23, 2007 Council 32 meeting. 33 34 C.
