RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION PROPOSING AND INITIATING THE <br />CREATION OF A SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Minnesota has enacted, as Laws <br />1961, Extra Session, Chapter 90, a certain Special Law known as the "NORTH <br />SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTRICT ACT and, <br />WHEREAS, said Act has now been approved by a majority of the governing <br />body of at least four of the following municipalities, to -wit: the Villages of <br />Brooklyn Park, Blaine, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, and the Cities of Coon <br />Rapids and Fridley, and compliance with Laws 1959, Chapter 368, has been made <br />relative thereto by such approving municipalities, and, <br />WHEREAS, t]:e Village of Brooklyn Park, the Village of Blaine, the Village <br />of Mounds View, the Village of Spring Lake Park, and the City of Coon Rapids <br />and the City of Fridley, each, as one of the municipalities affected and who <br />have made approval thereof in accordance with law, desires to obtain the <br />benefits of such law, together with each of the other municipalities so named <br />and affected, and to establish in accordance therewith and the authority <br />granted therein within said municipalities a sanitary sewer district to eff- <br />iciently, effectively and with timely and feasible means meet within the aaew <br />affected the urgent and immediate needs for sewage collection, treatment and <br />disposal.. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />SEC. 1: That this resolution is a separate and joint resolution of the Council <br />of each municipality passing and adopting the same. <br />SEC. 2: That this resolution proposes and initiates the creation of a sanitary <br />sewer district within the limits of the Villages of Brooklyn Park, <br />Blaine, Mounds View and Spring Lake Park, and the Cities of Coon Rapids and <br />Fridley and is addressed to the governing body of each of said municipalities, <br />
