RESOLUTION No. 227 <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CONNECTION AND USE CHARGES FOR THE <br />MOUNDS VIEW SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM PURSUANT TO MOUNDS VIEW( <br />ORDINANCE NO. 128.110. <br />The following resolution was moved by Member Blanchard <br />WHEREAS Mounds View Sanitary Sewer Ordinance No. 128.110 authorizes <br />the Village Council to establish rates and charges for the use and service of the <br />sanitary sewer system; <br />NOW, THEREFORE DE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br />Section 1. Definitions. <br />a. Usti: Any person, individual, partnership, corporation, association <br />or political subdivision applying for a permit to connect to the Mounds View <br />municipal sanitary sewer system or actually connected to said system. <br />b. Residential Equivalent Connection. (REC): The average discharge <br />rate per day of sewage into the sanitary sewer system for a single family residence <br />equals o: (1) REC. For purposes of this resolution one (1) REC does not exceed <br />200 gallons per day. RECS shall be determined by the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer <br />District pursuant to the terms of agreement No. 5 between the District and the <br />Village, dated March 9, 1964, Section 1.06. <br />c. Village: The Village of Mounds View. <br />d. District: The North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District. <br />Section 2. Connection charge. <br />a. Single family residences. All single family residences shall pay to <br />the Village in addition to all other charges an initial connection charge of <br />$100.00. <br />b. Other users. All other users shall pay to the Village in addition <br />to all other charges an initial connection charge of $200.00. <br />c. Method of payment. Connection charges not previously specially <br />assessed shall be, paid at the time the user applies for a permit pursuant to <br />Mounds View Ordinance 128.040; except that the Village may permit the payment of <br />
