RESOLUTION NO. 422 <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />At a regular meeting of the Village Council held on the 13th <br />day of January, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Village Hall with the following <br />members present: Austad, Hodges, Blanchard <br />and the following members absent: Malvin, Johnson <br />Member Blanchard moved the following resolution: <br />A RESOLUTION TO THE NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER <br />DISTRICT REGARDING THE CITY OF MINNEAPOLIS SEWAGE <br />CAPACITY OFFER DATED DECEMBER 31, 1968 <br />WHEREAS, the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District has received <br />an offer from the City of Minneapolis, dated December 31, 1968, offering additional <br />capacity for sewage disposal in the Minneapolis system, and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mounds View is a member of the North <br />Suburban Sanitary Sewer District, and <br />WHEREAS, the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District has ordered <br />and authorized the District Engineers to prepare plans for the construction of the <br />first stage of the sewage treatment plant to be located in the City of Fridley, and <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mounds View feels that it would be in the <br />best interests of its property owners, and the property owners located in the North <br />Suburban Sanitary Sewer District, that a comprehensive study of the Minneapolis offer <br />be undertaken immediately, and that the plans for the construction of the sewage <br />treatment plant by the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District be temporarily suspended <br />until such study has been made and referred to each municipality located in the North <br />Suburban Sanitary Sewer District for evaluation, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that tie. Village Council of the <br />Village of Mnunds View hereby request the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District <br />Board of Trustees to do the following: <br />1. Temporarily suspend the preparation of final plans and <br />specifications for the construction of a sewage treatment plant by the North Suburban <br />Sanitary Sewer District in Fridley until the Board of Trustees of the North Suburban <br />Sanitary Sewer District and the Village Council of the Village of Mounds View, and <br />
