the governing bodies of the member communities of the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer <br />District, have had an opportunity to study the offer of the City of Minneapolis dated <br />December 31, 1968 for additional capacity for sewage disposal either by personnel <br />selected by the Village or other governing bodies, or by personnel selected by the <br />North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District, <br />2. That the Board of Trustees of the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer <br />District select an independent engineering firm to make comprehensive study of the <br />Minneapolis offer of additional capacity for sewage disposal to determine as follows: <br />a. Whether the City of Minneapolis will agree to provide capacity <br />for sewage disposal to the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District, or the municipalities <br />presently affiliated with the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District, either by <br />membership or contract, and <br />b. What the cost of such additional capacity will be to the parties <br />hereinabove referred to. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Trustees of the North Suburban <br />Sanitary Sewer District enter into negotiations with the representatives for the <br />City of Minneapolis for additional capacity for sewage disposal to determine the full <br />extent of the disposal capacity that the City of Minneapolis has available, or will <br />make available, or agrees to make available to the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District, <br />and its affiliated members and obligees, so that the District, the Village of Mounds <br />View, and the other governing bodies, will be fully advised as to the maximum sewage <br />disposal capacity that can be made available. <br />LRLXN 4 <br />Village Clerk <br />Member Rustad seconded the resolution.
