Council o* the Village of Mounds View was called to order by Mayor Gibson at 8:00 P.M. on January 20, 1959, at the Village Hall, 1450 W. Nighway 96. James Gibson Earl E. Smith Reuben G. Sullivan Mary Jean Milbrandt Richard Meyers car were read: Trade -In Net Price 3,046.48 950.00 1,980.00' 1,877.79 1,984.71 2,730.00 966.45 2,500.00- Sedan) 965.45 2,426.00 47 Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Christensen to accept bid from Clayton Anderson Motors without trade -in. 5 ayes. The minutes of the January 2nd recessed meeting were corrected to show James Gibson as Chairman of the Police Commission and Reuben Achterkirch as Vice Chairman. Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch to approve the minutes as corrected. Mr. James Manson, 8145 Groveland Rd. was requested to correct the situation of junked cars on his property as soon as possible. Mr. Leonard Babinski discussed with the Council the possibility of building double bungalows on the property between Sunnyside and Redoak north of County Road H and South of 4ioodcrest Drive. Mr. Babinski was informed he should obtain a petition from the adjoining property owners and the matter would then be referred to the Planning Committee. Ingram C. Rusted was sworn in by Clerk Earl Smith as Mounds View Civil Defense Director. Mr. Bentrup presented a survey of a lot located on Red Oak Drive described as follows: The South one hundred thirty (130) feet of the west one hundred (112) feet of the east one hundred forty -five (145) feet of the north four hundred five (405) feet of the out eight hundred ten (81o) feet of the west five hundreJ twenty eight (528) feet of the Northeast Quarter (TIE) of Section Six (6), Township Thirty (30), R_r.ge Twenty Three (23), Ramsey County, Minnesota, subject to a road easement ov,:r the east thirty tree (33) feet thereof.
