?':arch 16, 1959 The special meeting of the Iounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor, James Gibson at 8:00 F.M. on March 16, 1959, at the Village Ha11, 1450 West Highway 96. The following members were present: Mayor: Clerk: Trustees: James W. Gibson Earl E. Smith Reuben G. Achterkirch Idelford C. Christensen John L. Sullivan ivan and the following were also present: Deputy Clerk: Mary Jean Iiilbrandt Legal Counsel: Richard Meyers Engineer: E. V. Comstock The Clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion by Achterkircb seconded/a by Sullivan to approve the minutes as read. Motion carried tmanim Mr. McCubrey, representing the State Highway Department appeared. byreques of the council regarding a service drive planned for development along with sways 8 and 10 located north of Highway 8 in the Rice Creek area. I�icCubrey; informed the council he would inquire it the highway Department about the possibility keeping this highway in the State Highway plans and also the possibility of receiving access from the north side of the Arms Plant entrance road into the proposed shopping; area at the junction of IIighways 8 and 10. Mr. McCubrey stated that he or some other representative of the Highway Department would appear at the next council <meet to inform the council of the State Highway Department's decision. Mr. Leonard Babinski and Mr. Donald Babinski appeared before the council requesting information regarding their request for building of multiple dwellings on their property, permission for which was denied by the council on March 2. 1959. The council upheld its previous denial for rezoning request as recommended by the Planning Commission. Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Smith to refer this request for rezoning back to the Planning, Commission for their recommendations and helpin developing the requesting parties property for multiple dwellings. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Harold Parson, 7855 Greenwood Drive, appeared requesting permission to divide a 165 foot by 300 foot lot into two lots, each lot to be 82' feet wide. Motion by Achterkirch, seconded by Smith to approve the division of the lot subject to regulations and procedures of the Planning Commission. Motion carried unanimously.` Motion by Sullivan, seconded by Achterkirch to approve a dance license, cigarette`'! license and a 3.2 beer on and off sale license for Rose W. Wagamon at the Meadowbrook Iran. Motion carried unanimously. The progress to date in regards to sanitary sewer was explained to several interested villas citizens by Mayor Gibson. Mayor Gibsc recommended that the contract for radio maintenance be changed from Mobile Rad: Engineering to C. vital Electronics, Inc. lie explained tt under
