65 Mr. Hellerstedt appeared before the council in regards to rezoning of a piece of property in the triangle between Highway 8 and Highway 10. Part of this property in Section 17 and part in Section e. Property in vestion is owned by. Mr. Raymond Skiba and Mrs. Claudia Skiba and is zoned farm residential at present time. Mr. Hellerstedt wishes to rezone this area as industrial. "Petition for rezoning referred to the Planning Commission. Report by Christensen on village roads which require patching. Christensen moved that tha following roads be patched part of which will be completed with state funds. Quincy Street from Hillview Head to County Road 112 Hillview Road from S.T.H. #8 to Red Oak Drive Bronson Drive from Quincy Street to Adams Street Pinewood Drive from Quincy Street to Jackson Drive Croveland Road from County Road J to Bronson Drive Knollwood Drive from Bronson Drive to County Road H Irondale Road from County Road H to Woodale Drive Seconded., by Smith and carried unanimously. Mr. -and Mrs. White again appeared before the council in regards to building a trailer court behind the Skyline motel. Mr. Crane, chairman of the Planning Commission, presented a planning commission report recommending denial of this request. Motion by Sullivan seconded by Christensen that the council concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission and deny use of the property in question for a trailer park or for parking of trailers. Motion carried unanimously. Motion b>r Gibson seconded by Smith for accentance of an agreement in form and content only for services with the engineering firm of Comstock and Davis for Stage 1 of the agreement upon acceptance and approval of the loan of our application by the House Rome Finance Aeency stating such motion. This agreement will be forwarded to the House Home Finance Agency in Chicago stating that we will enter into this agreement. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Gibson and seconded by Smith to rescind an action of the village council on March 16, 1959 governing the relocation of dwelling units in the vi llege of Mounds View due to a previous motion parsed by the township hoard. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Achte_kirch seconded by Christensen to adopt Ordinance 62, regulating the re— location of dvrelline units in the village of Mounds View. Recommendation received from the chairman of the Police Commission that tre council raise the salary of Officer Grabowski-, cut the salary of the Police Chief, and leave all other police salaries at their present amount. This recommendation was contested by Trustee Sullivan and Clerk smith as detrimental to the service rendered by the Police force. ration then made by Smith that we raise Crebo'•rski's salary from 250.0G to 2100.00 per month, other officers remain at the present salary rate and the chief's salary be raised S1O.00 which is presently the same as Oergeant h obertue.
