Mayor Gibson stated that under this policy the police department does not <br />have to be operating under Civil Service Regulations. Motion by Christensen, seconded <br />by 'Smith that all police commission meetings henceforth to be held at such time and <br />place and that all members of the council not presently on the police commission be <br />notified and permitted to sit in as advisory members at each Police Commission meeting. <br />Smith, Christensen, Gibson, aye; Hodges, no. Motion carried. <br />Sergeant John Robertus complained that the Village service stations were not <br />servicing the police vehicle properly and recommended council action. Clerk Smith <br />instructed to write a letter to Dolph's Shell Service, Chuck's Cities S r ice, and <br />Hughes Oil Co., requesting that the following service be rendered to the police <br />vehicle: (1) Water checked, (2) Battery water checked, (3) Oil checked, (4) Transmission <br />fluid checked, (5) Windows cleaned, and (5) car swept out. <br />Clerk Smith also instructed to issue a let'er to Mr. John Koontz, building inspector, <br />that further building permits not be issued for the Mueller Addition. <br />Motion by Christensen, seconded by Gibson to adjourn at 12:05 P.M.
