RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE NECESSITY AND`EXPEDILINICY <br />OF BORROWING MONEY AND ISSUING BONDS FOR WATERWORKS <br />IMPROVEMENT PURPOSES: AND CALLING AN ELECTION THEREON. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY the Village Council of the Village of <br />View, Minnesota, as follows; <br />That it is hereby found, determined and declared that it <br />necessary and expedient for the Village to borrow <br />mo an d issue its general obligation, negotiable coupon <br />bonds for the purpose of providing funds for the constrtic <br />tion of a waterworks system for the Village. <br />That a special election is hereby called to be held in <br />for the Village of Mounds View on the p o f <br />whether the Village should borrow money and issue its bonds <br />for the purpose of acquiring and constructing a waterworks <br />system for the Village. Said election shall be held at the <br />time and place specified in the form of notice hereinafter <br />contained, and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to cause notice of said election to be given by publishing <br />the same in the official newspaper at least once not later <br />than one week prior to the election, and `by posting copies <br />of said notice at the polling places and at three other <br />public and conspicuous places within the Village at least <br />ten (10) days prior to the date of said election. Said <br />notice shall be insubstantially the following form: <br />NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br />MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br />December 8, 1959 <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That a special Village election has been <br />called to be held in and for the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, <br />On_December 8, 1959, between the hours of 6 :00 A.M. o'clock and 8 :00 <br />o'clock P.M. at which time all qualified electors of the Village of <br />Mounds View may cast their ballots on the f'nilowing proposition: <br />"Shall the Village of Mounds View, Minnesota, be authorized to <br />borrow money and issue its general obligation bonds for the <br />purpose of providing funds to acquire and construct a waterworks <br />system for the Village at an estimated cost of 3 <br />to furnish water to the Village and its inhabitants <br />The polling places for said election are as follows: <br />
