Proceedings of the Village Council <br />utility t.. supply its own needs and the needs of private consumers for utility <br />evrvice, the estimated cost of said utility being $250,000, exclusive of costa to <br />be paid by special assessments against specially benefited property Under OFFICIAL <br />BALLOT corrected to read "Shall the Village of Mounds View construct, own and operate s' <br />a waterworks plant as a public utility to supply its own needs and the needs of private <br />consumers for utility service, the estimated cost of said utility being $250,000, <br />exclusive of costs to be paid by special assessments against specially benefited <br />operty Motion carried unanimously. <br />A special council meeting was called to be held on November 23rd at 7 :30 P.M. <br />at the Edgewood Junion High School to discuss the water program to be placed on the <br />ballot at the December 8th election. Said meeting to be a general meeting for the <br />public to hear the water program. <br />Attorney Meyers directed to check into the easement on the east side of Quincy <br />south of County Road I from the school board property. <br />The village clerk directed to write a letter to the school board requesting <br />permission to use the Pinewood School and Red Oak School for the village election <br />to be held December 8. <br />The following bills were presented to the council and approved: <br />To <br />E ,Atty Walbridge <br />Betty Walbridge <br />James W.
