PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RA,MSEY COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br />Tho regular meeting of the Village Council was Called to order at <br />8 :08_P. M. Monday, October 10, 1960, at the Red Oak School located <br />at Sherewood Road and Red Oak Drive. <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Allan B. Crane <br />Trustee Molford C. Christensen <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />Attorney Richard G. Meyers <br />Engineer Lester Knutson <br />Members Absent <br />Clerk Earl E. Smith <br />In view of the fact the clerk was absent attending duties <br />concerning the preparation of :cater Assessment books for the <br />County Auditor ►s Office, Muriel Littlejohn was delegated to <br />carry out the duties of the Clerk. <br />Mrs. Littlejohn read the minutes of the meeting of August 22, <br />1960. Mayor Crane thereupon corrected a statement contained <br />in the minutes concerning the 3100.00 approved by the council <br />which should be declared for used by the Industrial Committee <br />for expenses that would incure not only for the convention but <br />other possible expensed. Motion was clarified to tlta be that <br />the 3100.00 to be used by the Industrial Commission for any <br />used approved by the council. Motion by Hodges seconded by Chris- <br />tensen to approved the minutes as corrected. 4 ayes, motion <br />carried. <br />Motion was then made by Mayor Crane seconded by Malvin to <br />approve the minutes of the }later Assessment Hearin; on September <br />1, 1960, which listed the objectors to the assessments, said <br />minutes not having been read but studied by the council. 4 ayes, <br />motion carried. <br />8 The question of why the minutes of September 12th and 26th <br />meetings were not prepared were brought to the attention of <br />the council by Mayor Crane who thereupon roved and seconded <br />by Malvin to have the minutes of each previous meeting prepared <br />by the next meeting of the council. 4 ayes, motion carried. <br />
