PROCEEDIiIGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />MINNESOTA. <br />C. U104 <br />The regular meeting of the village council was called to order by Mayor <br />Crane at 8 :08 P. M., Monday October 24, 1960, at the Red Oak School located <br />at Sherewood Road and Red Oak Drive. <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Allan B. Crane <br />Clerk Earl E. Smith <br />Trustee Melford C. Christensen <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Perry Malvin <br />Attorney Richard G. Meyers <br />Engineer C. V. Comstock <br />Lester Knutson <br />The minutes of the September 12th meeting were read by the Clerk. Motion <br />by Malvin, seconded by Hodges to approve the minutes as read. 5 ayes, motion <br />carried. <br />The minutes of the August 29th meeting were read by the Clerk. Motion <br />by Hodges, seconded by Malvin to approve the minutes as read. 5 ayes, <br />motion carried. <br />Motior by Smith, seconded by Malvin to table the minutes of the meeting <br />of September 26th until they could be read by the council as said minutes consist <br />aia 8 pages. Christensen, Smith, Hodges and Malvin, aye; Crane, no. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mayer Crane inquired about the minutes of the meeting of September 29th <br />and was informed by Clerk Smith that the information concerning the Waterworks <br />bonds had not been received from the Fiscal Agent as yet and the minutes would <br />be prepared as soon as said information is received. <br />The minutes of the meeting of October 18th were read and corrected as <br />follows: A sentence to be inserted in said minutes that the firm of Allison <br />Williams and Company was awarded the contract for the sale of bonds. Also <br />said minutes should show that !trustee Christensen entered the meeting just <br />after the awarding of the Bond Contract. Motion by Christensen, seconded by <br />Hodges to approve the Minutes cf the Meeting of October 18th s corrected. <br />5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Clerk Smith brought up the subject of certifying to the council the <br />Judges for the November 8th election. A long with the judges to be certified <br />Smith also recommended that other clerical help be approved during the rush <br />time and the counting of the ballots. Motion by Christensen, seconded by <br />Crane to concur with the Clerk's recommendation and certify the following judges <br />and allow clerical help to be provided as so needed during the General Election <br />on November 8, 1960: <br />
