Upon call of roll t' e motion and amended motion re- <br />ceived 5 ayes, motion carried. <br />Clerk Smith read a letter from the Highway Department which <br />lled for approval of plans for that Highway. The letter was <br />_oferred to the Attorney and Engineer for study. <br />Clerk Smith also read a letter from the School Board <br />.questing that the council forward a letter to the Recreation <br />leartment naming the Mounds View village representative to the <br />_tool Recreation Board for the year of 1960 and 1961. Trustee <br />Jdges stated that this had been referred to the Park and Play- <br />round Committee for recommendation at its next meeting. <br />Clerk Smith read a request by Roy Schmidt for a permit to <br />ark his trailer at 1945 Highway 10. Mott,n by Crane, seconded <br />y Smith to deny this request. Crane, Smith, Hodges, Christencc <br />:.ye; Malvin, no. 4 ayes, motion carried. <br />Mayor Crane then brought up the subject of John Och's 30 d <br />npointment to the Police force. Mr. Och has asked whether or <br />of he will be retained on a list of persons to be used as fillf <br />-1 when needed. The council recommended this t the Police Com <br />'ssion for action. <br />Mr. Jack Bell brought up the subject of court space for the <br />'ustices of Peace at New Brighton Village Hall. He stated that <br />c had approahhed the New Brighton Village Council and they uncr <br />usly agreed to rent space to Mounds View Village at a fee of <br />15.00 a week.
