Crane <br />Clerk: Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Trustees: Donald C. Hodges <br />Perry Iialvin <br />i :clford Christensen <br />Attorney: Richard Iieycrs <br />Engineer: Les Knutson <br />A motion was made by I•ialvin to accept the minutes of the previour. <br />meeting as read. Seconded by Aodgcs. 5 Ayes for approval. i :otion <br />carried. <br />Ur. William A. Dietrichson from Northern States Power Company <br />presented a contract and Resolution for electrical service to the <br />Pumping Station. The contract was examined and rates and services <br />discussed by the Council. }lotion by Christensen to accept the con- <br />tract and Resolution as presented. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes for <br />approval. Iiotion carried. <br />Iiayor Crane stated that because an emergency had boon declared <br />by the Council, the Village had requested bids for a pumping in- <br />stallation from six (6) firms, well known in their field, and asked <br />the Village Engineer to report on the bids received and his findings <br />on a responsible low bidder. <br />Iir. Knutson reported that of the six bids requested, four had <br />been received and that the bids were opened at 5 :00 P.E. in the office <br />of the Village Engineer on January 23 1961 in the presence of Villag <br />Kelvin Blanchard, Trustees alvin and Christens°, and Waterworks •Supt. <br />Skiba. <br />The low bid was received from Fairbanks horse, 220 :last 5th St. <br />St. Paul, Minnesota in the amount of :;17,975.0o work to begin 21 days <br />after award of contract and to be finished in 28 days. <br />Second bid was received from Layne- i :;innesota, 3147 I Califorr <br />Linneapolis, linnesota in the amount of (118,419.10 wort: to begin 14 <br />days after award of contract and to be finished in 24 days. <br />Third bid received from Iiueller 3ros., Gaylord, :iancsota in the <br />amount of ;�19 379.76, cork to begin 21 days after aware' of contract <br />aad to be finished in 28 days. <br />Fourth bid received fron Jacuzzi 3ros., Inc. 6160 Wayzata Blvd. <br />i;innoapolis, Minnesota, in the amount of :;19,875.00, ;tor': to begin <br />30 days after award of contract and to be completed in 40 days. <br />
