PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />VILLAGE OF HOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Crane at 8:00 P.M. July loth. 1961 at <br />the Red Oak Sche Sherwood Rd, and Red Oak Dr. Minneapolis, <br />Minnesota. <br />Present were: <br />Absent were: <br />Mayor: Allan B. Crane <br />Adml Dep. Clk ;Paul Boog <br />Trustees: Melford Christensen <br />Donald Hodges <br />Attorney: Richard.. Meyers <br />Engineer: Les Knutson <br />Pub. ?forks: Walter Skiba <br />Trustee: :'erry elvin <br />Clerk: Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />000086 <br />Minutes of the June 26th regular Council Meeting were reviewed; <br />correction of the minutes- by Trustee Christensen on page four. <br />third paragraph add the following after the word plans, "For these <br />buildings to be drawn by delete the words "are presented from <br />Motion by Christensen to approve the minutes as corrected....�coadea <br />by ;:o� s. .4 gyoe fbr approval._ <br />The minutes of the June 29th Special Meeting of the Village <br />Council were reviewed. correction of the minutes by Trustee <br />Christensen on the first paragraph -first line, add the following <br />after the word made, "to approve the resolution granting Motion <br />by Crane oeconded by Hodges.to :rove" <br />..inutcs z:,.corrected. 4 ..yes. <br />Discussion was held on the condition of the Village streets. <br />Mayor Crane reported that on June 29th the Council had toured <br />the Village inspecting the streets. Motion by Christensen <br />A. That Clerk's office request the County to: <br />1. Oil Edgewood from County Road I to TH #10 <br />2, Blade and Oil Laport Drive from Edgewood to the <br />East limit(Jackson Drive). <br />3. Blade and Oil .dgew .3od Dr. from Laporte to the <br />North limit(Ardan Ave.), <br />4. Grade and Surface Pinewood Court- The county is <br />to inform the Village Engineer's when work would <br />begin so that the Engineers would install the <br />proper grade stakes. <br />B. Mr. Christensen be authorized to contact a contractor <br />to patch Pinewood Dr. between Jackson and Zuincy, also <br />Oastwood from Sherwood to "J <br />C. Instruct the Attorney and Engineer to work together <br />to procure additional easement of Hillview from Quincy <br />to TH #8. <br />Motion seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes for approval. Mayor Crane <br />reported that the Council policy was to do a minimum amount of work <br />on the street until the sanitary sewers are installed. <br />
