Mayor Crane instructed the clerk to contact Mr. Dalhberg and request the money to be in the Village Treasury by July 24th6 mayor Crane instructed the clerk to order an arrow s1reet sign from the County to be placed facing Hillview at the intersection of Spring Lake Park Road and Hillview. The Street Fund account was brought upi .Referring to a request from Mr. Gibson to transfer money from the General Fund to the Street Fund. Trustee Christensen informed the Council that he would contact the clerk, Mr. Blanchard, about this matter. Mayor Crane instructed the Village A'ttbrney nr_. I:gyers to speck 'On the proposed streets. The matter of the ?later Improvement Project 1961 -1 extension of the 6" lateral mains was discussed. The following streets were included in the Engineers report: Red Oak Drive Sherwood Road to County Road "J" Fairchild Ave. Hillview Road to Sherwood Road Greenwood Drive .6 Sherwood Road to Hillview Road Hillview Road :loodlawn Drive to Edgewood Drive TH #1O Groveland St. to Spring Lake Park Road County Rd H2 Fairchild Ave. to 1200 feet East Eastwood Raod S•loodcrest Drive to iloodale Drive Woodale Drive 1•loodcrest Drive to Greenwood Drive Motion by Christensen that the Council order Water Improvement Project #1961 -1; instruct the Engineers to draw the final plans and specifications for this project. Publish the notification bids on the 13th and the 20th of July and open the bids on July 24th. Motion seconded by Hodges. 4 Ayes for approval. Notion by Crane to pass the Septic Tank Ordinance controlling the disposition of sewage submitted by the Village Attorney. Motion seconded by Malvin. After considerable discussion the motion and second were withdrawn. The attorney was instructed to insert a proposed amendment in which the police or building inspector would be required to sign complaints against offenders, and return the revised Ordinance for consideration at the next meeting. The Council approved the following for water connection charges where service is not in at the curb that is new homes, at lots where streets must be torn up to make connections or on lot subdivisions where hookup was not originally made. A total cost of which includes 0100.00 hook -up; :35.00 permit; 130.00 meter deposit; tapping; ;25.00 corporation cock and shut off cock.* The owner to supply labor, copper tubing.and street repair, *The Corporation cock and shut off cock can be purchased privately or from Village, but must be according to Village specifications. The Brooklyn Park Sanitary Sewer Resolution was noted. Trustee Hodges reported that the Park and Playground ^ComMission would meet in the Village office at 8:00 P.M. on July 12th.
