Seconded by Blanchard. 5Ayes. <br />Minutes of Special Meeting July 13th, 1961 were read. Notion <br />by Hodgbg to'acoept minut0s• read. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />The ;Tanning Commission report was read by Mr. Stole and pre- <br />sented to the Council (copy on file) and the following action was taken: <br />Motion by Crane to concur with the Planning Commission's recommendation <br />regarding the proposed Johnson Plot and to have the Clerk's office <br />notify Er. Johnson of the Commissions findings. A, He is to provide <br />sufficient street easement for a 73 foot right of way on Sherwood Road <br />and Edgewood Dr., also, a 60 foot right of way on Greenfield Place and on <br />Greenfield Ave. He When he presents his next plot plan that he consider <br />dedicating the low land on his property as a furture playground site. <br />TBe office is to notify Hr. Johnson of the Commissions findings. <br />The regulations and a copy of the Zoning Ordinance, and to furthur notify <br />him of the next Planning Commission's regular meeting on August 15th. <br />Seconded by Malvin 5 Ayes, <br />The Clerk's office was directed to malf.e available to the Planning <br />Commission's members copies of the sub division regulations. <br />The matter of two vacancies on the :Tanning Commission was brough- <br />up. The Mayor asked for names of interested citizens and stated"'thht <br />these two vacancies would be filled in the near future. <br />Motion. bf Crane that the Council and the Police Commission_ contin <br />to work on the Civil Service Ordinance for the Police Department. <br />Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Christensen reported that after meeting with representatives <br />of the County Engineers Office, that they could put in the drain system <br />and do the necessary gra and ditc;ling for the Village at Lambert Park. <br />A news release was read regarding water meters and rates. (copy <br />of file.) <br />Motion by Christensen to approve the letter from the Clerk's <br />Office for public release. Seconded by i.alvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Crane thet the date of April 1, 1961 was the date on <br />which water became available on 'later Projeots 1960..1 and 1960..2, <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes, <br />The above motion was passed to fulfill the requirements of <br />Ordinance #74, section 270 <br />
