-3- <br />2. Mr. A. Cl Holschuk, 1924 Laurel Avenue, Mpls.(nwns 0J011.9 <br />property at 2665 Woodcrest Drive) felt that assessment is greater <br />than the benefit received. <br />3. Mr. H.W. Schultz, Attorney for Don Voge, 6000 Highway #8, <br />His Client feels that the Assessment should not be charged <br />until area is developed. Assessment amounts to approximately <br />50% of total project cost. Requests reduction or complete <br />elimination of assessment. <br />There being no further objections the Mayor declared <br />the hearing closed. <br />The Assessment Roll will be adopted Sept. 10, 1962. <br />A resolution regarding storm sewer problems in Ramsey <br />County was read. <br />Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution #111. Seconded <br />by Hodges. 4 Ayes. <br />Mr. Sullivan entered at 9:45. <br />Letter from Richard Jones, State Representative regarding <br />population trends in the suburbs as predicted by the Metropolitan <br />Planning Commission was read and placed on file. An invitation <br />to attend a meeting regarding this matter was extended to all <br />Mounds View residents byMr. Jones. <br />A letter regarding gas service on Pleasant View Drive from <br />County Road H ..2 to County Road H was read and placed on file. <br />The Clerk was instructed to notify St. Paul N.S.P. Gas <br />Company about this matter and to request immediate action. <br />Mr. Hodges presented the proposed budget for 1963 for the <br />Recreation Committee and stated that there are two openings on the <br />Reereation Committee to be filled. Interested citizens may apply <br />at the Village Office. <br />The Mayor announced that a budget and agenda meeting will <br />be held at 6;00 P.M. on September 6, 1962 at the Village 'Dffice. <br />Mr. Sullivan reported that both Gloria Circle and the Village <br />Hall parking lot work would be completed in the near future. <br />Mr. Piehowaki, Building Inspector, presented a request for <br />variance for Mr. Lee Parson, 7940 Sunnyside Road. Motion by <br />Blanchard to allow variance to building code and reduce side yard <br />set back, as requested to 4feet 6 inches.Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />The "Building Inspector was directed to notify the owner <br />of a farm on Irondale Road to remove fire guttedout buildings <br />from said farm, as they constitute a very definite hazard. <br />Motion by Crane to authorize the Engineer and Mr. Malvin <br />to nave N.S,P. install lights on parking lot at the Village Hall. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer and Mr, Sullivan are authorized to represent <br />the Virage at the meeting of the Ramsey County League of Municipalities <br />Storm Sewer Comm. on September 11, 1962. <br />
