-3- The Inspector will notify the Council of action taken and results of action at next Council meeting. The owner of the firewgutted buildings on Irondale Road has informed the building inspector that 13 will remove them. The Engineer stated that after tabulation of bids he recommends the acceptance of the bid of Montgomery Construction Company, M otion by Blanchard to concur with Engineer's recommendation and accept the low bid of the Montgomery Construetion Company, St, Croix Falls, Wisconsin in the amount of $17,443,00 for Project 1962 ®2 and $27,333.20 for Project 1962 -3. Seconded by Hor ,:s. 5 Ayes. GJO12 7 A letter from the Fiscal Agents for the North Suburban Sewer District regarding a resolution for application for Federal Funds was read and discussed. Motion by Malvin to adopt Resolution 112... Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. Mr. Hodges stated that the proposed budget for the Youth Activities Committee is $150,006 Mr. Malvin reported that Spring Lake would be re- stocked this fall and again next spring according to Mr. Ed. Salverda, County Commission. Mr. Sullivan reported the following: 1. Sodding on Gloria Circle and St. Stephens completed. 2. The Walk -thru between Quincy and Ericksen near the Pinewood School is being posted to eliminate motor traffic, 3. The Parking Lot and Edgewood Drive complete except for final sand and oil treatment. 4. Edgewood Drive from .County Road H -2 south will be posted "Slow School" or something similar. The Building inspector presented preliminary plans for the "Oasis" a night elub and motel combination being proposed by Mr, Andrew Simon. These were found to be incomplete and the plans will be returned to Mr. Simon for corrections, Motion by Crane to waive requirewentof zoning Ordinance and allow a 9 2" side yard set back for Mr. Douglas Ingram, 2292 Lois Dr, Seconded by Hodges, 5 Ayes, Motion by Malvin to waive requirements of zoning ordinance and allow a 4 projection to the front of home of Warren Hertenstein, 2102 Hillview Road, Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes, Mr. Piehowski requested advice on what action he should take regarding a blacktop driveway at 2236 Oakwood Drive. The attorney advised that 10 days after a letter to the contractor, if no answer is reeeived, then a Council action should be started. The Council was informed that the Contractor had no permit and no license to operate in the Village.
