-2- 0J0140 <br />Motion by Sullivan to adopt Resolution #113, a resolution <br />adopting the tax levy for the Village of Mounds View to be collected <br />in 1963. General Fund $38,073.00; P.E.R.A. $2,450.00; <br />Civil Defense $1,280.00; Total $41,803.00 <br />Seconded by Malvin 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Crane to adopt Resolution #114. The affirmation <br />of the tax levy for the retirement of principal and interest <br />on the Water Improvement Bonds in the amount of $20,800.00. <br />Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes <br />Mayor Crane read Section #27 of Ordinance #74 which states <br />"Connection charge: Any person, firm or corporation that does <br />not connect to the Municipal Water System within 6 months after <br />said water service is available may be required to pay, in <br />addition to all other charges a service connection charge in the <br />amount of $100.00". <br />Motion by Blanchard to invoke Section #27 of Ordinance #74 and <br />to have the effective date of this motion be the 30th day of <br />June 1963. This means that all homes presently on the water lines <br />must have the water into their homes by June 30, 1963 or pay an <br />additional $100.00 late hook -up fee. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Don Bratt and Mr. R, J. O +Neil appeared to discuss the <br />Councils feeling toward rezoning part of the area presently zoned as a <br />shopping Center site to General Business to erect a Drive -In <br />Theater. Mayor Crane told them to apply for a special use permit <br />under B -2 Zoning and comply with the other regulation pertaining <br />to rezoning. <br />Motion by Sullivan to set October 22, 1962 9:00 P.M. for a <br />Public Hearing to amend Ordinance #67, Section #6.3 -3 to consider <br />issuing a special use permit for a theater, Open Air Drive -In <br />also to publish and mail notices. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes <br />Mr. O.C. Braathen requested information on moving a house <br />from 1966 Highway #96 to 2015 County Road H. He was given all <br />necessary information. <br />Mr. Adams, owner and Mr. Dahlberg, builder requested a special <br />permit at 8004 Red Oak Drive. Motion by Sullivan to authorize <br />the Building Inspector to issue a building permit allowing a <br />variance on the size of a garage from 650 square feet max. to <br />720 square feet to be built at 8004 Red Oak Drive. <br />Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes <br />The Building Inspector was instructed to notify the owner <br />to remove the second garage at 7225 Knollwood Drive according to <br />previous agreement. <br />Mr. Bell representing Benn -Ett Reality Company, requested <br />a Public Hearing for rezoning. Motion by Sullivan to hold a <br />Public Hearing for the purpose of rezoning a triangle piece of <br />C Connell's property from R -1 to B -3 at 8:00 P.M., October 22, <br />1962, and to hold a joint meeting with the planning commission <br />on this rezoning. Seconded by Malvin. 4 Ayes. <br />
