PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA OJC 23 The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Crane at8:00 P.M., March 11, 1963 at 2401 Highway 10. Present were: Mayor: Clerk: Trustee: Allan B. Crane Lloyd J. Blanchard Donald Hodges Perry Malvin John L. Sullivan Also Present: Engineer: Les Knutson Attorney: Richard Meyers Treasurer: Irene Edberg Adm. Deputy Clerk: Paul E. Boog Public Works: Walter Skiba Motion by Sullivan to accept minutes of February 25 as presented. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. The Mayor opened the Public Hearing on proposed relocation of the former Sahara Club. The Clerk read the legal and published notice regarding this hearing. Mr. John Bell, representing the petitioner, Paul Indykiewicz, told the Council how the building would be brought up to the building code after moving, and showed where the building would be placed on said property. The only objection to the hearing was from Mr. Benson, representing Dahlberg Builders, who wished assurance that the building would be brought up to code and would conform generally with the surrounding homes. (letter regarding this on file) The Mayor called for further objectors or proponents. There being none the hearing was closed at 8:15 P.M. After discussion with the Attorney the following action was taken: Motion by Blanchard to approve application for relocation of house from 5164 Highway 8 to the South 200 feet of Lot 56, Auditor's Subdivision #89, except the West 216.6 feet thereof and to authorize the Building Inspector to issue permit. House to be fully completed within 6 months. Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. The Clerk informed the Council that the papers for the proposed rezoning of a parcel of land on Highway 10 were on file and in order. Motion by Crane to set a Public Hearing on March 25, 1963 at 8:00 P.M. to rezone That part of the SE% of Section 6, Township 30, Range 23, lying SW'ly of the original center line of Trunk Highway 1S and NW'ly of a line at right angles to said center line extending SW from a point thereon 1511.9 feet NW'ly from its intersection with S. line of said Section. Subject to H .,:ghway from R -2 to B -3. The Clerk shall cause such notices to be published and mailed as may be required. The proposel shall be referred to the Planning Commission for a report at the Public Hearing. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes.
