-2- <br />0J0031 <br />The Applicant. in view of this action withdrew his application <br />for rezoning. <br />Motion by Blanchard to refund fees paid by applicant because <br />of previous action. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />Hearing closed by Mayor Crane at 9:50 P.M. <br />Recessed Meeting for ten minutes. <br />Meeting called to order and Public Hearing for Mr. Hugo <br />Bjarkmann property opened at 10 :00 P.M. <br />Mr. Kvalheim, Attorney for Petitioner, presented the <br />tentative plans for the development and answered several questions <br />from the floor. The approximate amount of income that the Village <br />would receive from this development in the way of taxes was <br />discussed. <br />The Mayor called for objectors to the proposal three times. <br />There were no objectors, <br />The Mayor called for pro$onents of the plan and they <br />were as follows: <br />Mr. Ralph Peterson Feels the development would be an <br />asset to the Village. <br />Mr. C. Jaeger <br />1955 Bronson Drive Feels that the Village is acting <br />more progressively <br />There being no further statements the Mayor declared the <br />hearing closed. <br />Motion By Sullivan to adopt the rezoning and issue the <br />special use permit as requested for the Mobile Home Park upon <br />application for and approval of a building permit. <br />Seconded by Malvin, 5 Ayes. <br />A proposed ordinance regarding Mobile Home Parks was <br />discussed. <br />Motion by Sullivan to adopt Ordinance 98. <br />Seconded by Blanchard, 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Sullivan to accept minutes of March 11, meeting <br />as presented, Seconded by Malvin. 5 Ayes. <br />A comprehensive Civil Defense Report of goals and aims <br />of the Civil Defense Department was presented by Mr. Charles Jackson, <br />Civil Defense Director <br />Motion by Malvin to adopt Civil Defense outline of goals and <br />aims as presented, Seconded by Blanchard. (copy on file) 5 Ayes. <br />Following itsmairought from floor by citizens: <br />1. Engineer instructed to have contractor grade excavation banks <br />where fill was removed for Hillview Porject. <br />2. Engineer instructed to check drainage pipe outlet on park, <br />blocked by peat removed from Hillview Project. <br />3. Request for a tennis court at Hillview Park. Referred to <br />recreation committee, <br />4. A memo presented by Mr, Mr. Bell (J.P.) regarding Municipal Courts. <br />5. Village Attorney instructed to investigate cost and income from <br />present joint Municipal Courts in the State. <br />Motion by Sullivan to refund money for liquor licenses to <br />Mr. Clarence Peterson 870 Oakwood Drive. Seconded by Crane. 5 Ayes. <br />
