Blanchard <br />'llage Clerk <br />0J0032 <br />Mr. Sullivan reported that he was investigating a dump <br />truck for Village use at a cost of approximately $900.00. <br />A letter from NSSSD was read by Mayor Crane and a meeting <br />was set with the Board and Village Council in Council Chambers at <br />4:00 P.M., Monday, April 1, 1963. <br />The Engineer presented Estimate 1 for the Walbon Construction <br />Company on the Hillview Road Project. <br />The Engineer stated that the water tests taken in the Village <br />and reports on them were not yet complete. (Hot water tank damage) <br />A resolution regarding 35W plans v• ^s referred to the Attorney <br />?nd Engineer for study and recommendation. <br />The Attorney was instructed to investigate state and local <br />laws regarding Beauty Shops and to report at the next regular meeting, <br />The Attorney was instructed to prepare an amendment to <br />the Liquor Ordinance along the general lines of action taken at this <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Skiba was given the authority to issue over weight <br />permits to trucks doing emergency fuel delivery or cesspool pumping <br />in the Village. <br />A letter from the County Engineer and County Board regarding <br />Judicial Ditch 1 was referred to the Engineer for study and recommenda- <br />tion and also for ascertaining costs of dragline rental. <br />Motion by Blanchard to purchase one copy of League of <br />Minnesota Municipalities Handbook. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to authorize Mr. Paul Boog to attend <br />a course at the University of Minnesota Center for Continuation Study <br />on April 8th and 9th. Seconded by Crane. 5 Aye% <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve license and pay bills <br />submitted including Engineer's Estimate 1 for Hillview Road project <br />Seconded -by Malvin. (list attached) 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to send work order to N,S.P. for one <br />6,000 lumen street light at the dead end of Fairchild Avenue, North <br />.of County Road H as petitioned. Seconded by Hodges. 5 Ayes s <br />Mr. Skiba was instructed to cause dead end signs and <br />barricades to be placed on Fairchild Avenue and at the West end of <br />Woodcrest Drive in the Twelve Oaks Aroa. <br />The Clerk was instructed to have the Sub division regulations <br />reprinted at a cost not to exceed $50.00 <br />Motion by Sullivan to appoint Mrs. Bernice Ehlers as <br />Village Assessor.
