PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL (j j(J jj2U <br />VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., February 10, 1964 at 2401 High- <br />way #10, <br />Present Were: <br />Mayor: <br />Clerk: <br />Trustee: <br />Trustee: <br />Trustee: <br />Donald C. Hodges <br />Lloyd J. Blanchard <br />Ingram Rustad <br />John L. Sullivan <br />Charles LaVaque <br />Also Present: <br />Attorney: Richard Meyers <br />Engineer: Les Knutson <br />Public Works: Walter Skiba <br />Administrative Clerk: Paul Boog <br />Motion by Rustad to approve minutes of the regular meeting held on <br />January 27, 1963.as presented. Seconded by LaVaque. 4 Ayes. <br />Sullivan abstained. <br />Motion by LaVaque to approve minutes of the special meeting held on <br />February 3, 1964 as presented. Seconded by Sullivan. 5 Ayes. <br />A petition opposing the construction of sanitary sewers in the Hill <br />view area was presented. The Clerk was instructed to file the petition <br />with the others received on the same subject. <br />The Mayor announced that the problem of the sewer proposal would be <br />discussed at the next agenda.meeting, Monday, February 17, 1964. <br />Motion by Hodges to direct the Police Department to release an air <br />rifle they had impounded to Mr. Swenson, 5462 Jackson Drive. Seconded by <br />Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />The matter of storm drainage through the east ui of Lot 9 on Gloria <br />Circle was referred to the Engineer for recommendation. <br />A letter from the Minnesota Water Polution Control Commission approving <br />plans for the N.S.S.S.D.'s interceptor system was read and filed. <br />A letter from the Ramsey County Auditor requesting the Village to use <br />permanent voter registration was read and filed. <br />The Clerk's office was instructed to investigate the water hook -up, <br />without penalty, of a house at 8345 Red Oak Drive. <br />The Police report for January, 1964 was read and filed. <br />The B. E. Patrol report for January, 1964 was read and filed. <br />Mr. LaVaque reported that the unsanitary conditions at a rental unit <br />reported at the last meeting were cleaned up. <br />
