-2- <br />UuOG2I <br />Motion by LaVaque to pay bill presented by N.S.P. for electrical eerv- <br />ice for period of time that meter was inoperative due to broken gears. <br />Bill in the amount of $154.77. Seconded by Blanchard. 5 Ayes. <br />The Clerk's office was directed to issue water permits only after <br />payment of the late hook -up fees. <br />The minutes of the Civil Defense meeting of January 31,1964 were read <br />and discussed. <br />Motion by Rustad to adopt recommendations of the Civil Defense Commiss- <br />ion as follows: <br />1. The key for the Civil Defense truck shall remain in the <br />possession of the Civil Defense organization only. <br />2. The truck shall be used only if an authorized C.D. man is <br />in charge. <br />3. When the truck is called out by any department, a charge of <br />$2.50 per hour shall be charged. <br />A. $1.50 per hour to the man on the truck. <br />B. $1.00 per hour to be credited C.. the Civil Defense <br />budget for expense on the truck. <br />4. A price up to a certain amount be agreed upon for a build- <br />ing to house the Civil Defense truck and Civil Defense <br />equipment. A figure of approximately $500.00 <br />5. Permission be granted to the Civil Defense to install the <br />antenna for communications on top of the water tower when <br />the building for Civil Defense is completed. The height of <br />the water tower is within F.C.C. regulations. <br />Seconded by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Anthony Donatelle requested permission to move the Pinewood Club <br />from it's present location to his property at County Road H -2 and High- <br />way #10. <br />He was referred to the Clerk's office to fill out proper forms and to <br />comply with ordinances. <br />Motion by Blanchard to set a public hearing on the above matter for <br />February 24, 1964 at 9:30 P.M. Seconded by Rustad. 5 Ayes. <br />The Attorney presented a formal contract proposal fog Engineering <br />servi '-es for study. <br />The matter of County liability for property damage done by their <br />equipment was referred to the Attorney for a memo. <br />The Attorney reported that the Karl Dedolph Construction Co. case was <br />postponed again and no new date had been set. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitte totaling $3,849.65. Seconded <br />by LaVaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Rustad to approve the financial report for 1963 and order the <br />printing of same.
