Blanchard <br />Charles La Vaque <br />Ingram Rustad <br />Arthur Schott <br />Eldon Comstock <br />Richard Meyers <br />Walter Skiba <br />The Mayor called three times for further bids for street <br />and water project 1964 -1 and then announced the bidding closed. <br />Bids were opened by the Clerk and read by the Engineer as <br />follows: <br />Planholder Bid Bond Lump Sum Bid Comp. Time <br />Horace Montgomery Const. 5 8,138.90 As Spec. <br />1230 Highway 100 <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota <br />Walbon Excavating Co. 5 7,500.00 As.Spec. <br />3242 Highway 8 <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota <br />5 4,105.71 <br />30 Cal. <br />Days <br />The Mayor asked if any bids submitted were not read and there <br />were none. <br />Motion by Blanchard to refer the bids to the Engineer for <br />tabulation and recommendation. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />The Engineer presented the revised estimate for the above <br />project for council study. (Copy on file) <br />Motion by La Vaque to accept minutes of August 10, 1964 <br />as presented. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by request of property owner to set public hearing for <br />the rezoning of Lots 78, 79 and 80 of the S.E. 4 of Section 6, Township 30 <br />Range 23 Hillview Addition from R -2 to B• -3. Hearing to be held at <br />9:00 P.M., September 14, 1964 at the regular Council Meeting. <br />Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to concur with the Building Inspectors <br />•ecommendation and allow variance as requested by S and W construction. <br />Phis is to allow a 5 foot side yard set back at the West 85 feet of <br />Lot 96, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition. Seconded by Rusted. 5 Ayes. <br />
