The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was called to order by Mayor Hodges at 8:00 P.M., August 24, 1964 at 2401 Highway 10. Minneapolis, Minnesota PROCEEDINGS OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL VILLAGE OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Donald C. Hodges Lloyd J. Blanchard Charles La Vaque Ingram Rustad Arthur Schott Eldon Comstock Richard Meyers Walter Skiba The Mayor called three times for further bids for street and water project 1964 -1 and then announced the bidding closed. Bids were opened by the Clerk and read by the Engineer as follows: Planholder Bid Bond Lump Sum Bid Comp. Time Horace Montgomery Const. 5 8,138.90 As Spec. 1230 Highway 100 Minneapolis, Minnesota Walbon Excavating Co. 5 7,500.00 As.Spec. 3242 Highway 8 Minneapolis, Minnesota 5 4,105.71 30 Cal. Days The Mayor asked if any bids submitted were not read and there were none. Motion by Blanchard to refer the bids to the Engineer for tabulation and recommendation. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. The Engineer presented the revised estimate for the above project for council study. (Copy on file) Motion by La Vaque to accept minutes of August 10, 1964 as presented. Seconded by Schott. 5 Ayes. Motion by request of property owner to set public hearing for the rezoning of Lots 78, 79 and 80 of the S.E. 4 of Section 6, Township 30 Range 23 Hillview Addition from R -2 to B• -3. Hearing to be held at 9:00 P.M., September 14, 1964 at the regular Council Meeting. Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. Motion by Blanchard to concur with the Building Inspectors •ecommendation and allow variance as requested by S and W construction. Phis is to allow a 5 foot side yard set back at the West 85 feet of Lot 96, Spring Lake Park Hillview Addition. Seconded by Rusted. 5 Ayes.
