The regular meeting of the Mounds View Village Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Hodges at 3:00 P.M., March B, 1965 at <br />2401 Highway 10. <br />ROLL CALL C F FF ICIALS <br />Mayor: Donald C. Boog <br />Shelly Boehm <br />Walter Skiba <br />0J0026 <br />Motion by La Vaque to approve minutes of February 23, 1965 <br />as presented. Seconded by Malvin 5 Ayes. <br />Mr, Rusted, Council Representative on NSSSD Board of Directors <br />reported that the board was preparing procedure steps for taking in <br />other municipalities into the district. He also reported that Mayor <br />Nee of Fridley has indicated his tentative approval of the Bel Rae <br />sewage dumping into Fridley lines. <br />Mrs. Sawyer of 7151 Knollwood Drive reported a serious <br />drainage water problem on Knollwood and requested some action be taken <br />promptly. Mr. Skiba was directed to pump water out to drainage ditch <br />and authorized to rent a pump for this purpose. <br />The Clerk read a letter from Mrs. S. B. Fried and read a <br />prepared answer to the letter. (Copy of letter and answer will be <br />incorporated with official copy of minutes) <br />The status of the citizens petition to the public examiner <br />was asked and Mr. Boog reported that at noon on this day the Auditor's <br />office had stated that there were not enough names on the petition. <br />Mr. Fried showed copies of a receipt for the petition and supplemental <br />names from the County Auditor, so it appeared that the petition was <br />on file. The Clerk stated that in view of the above information, the <br />accounting firm of Peat, Marwick and Mitchell would be advised that <br />their services would not be required this year. <br />In answer to a question regarding the stop signs at County <br />Road I and Groveland Road, Mr. Rustad said he would check with the <br />Police Department to see if a four -way stop should be requested from <br />the County Engineer. <br />Mr. Rusted read the Police report for February. (Cn file) <br />Mr. La Vaque reported the following items: <br />1. Water Department report for February. (On file) <br />2. Two hydrants damaged by snow plows and repairer?. <br />3. Well 2 remains inoperative. <br />4. Road work being taken care of as quickly as possible. <br />Warned residents that things will get worse with sewer <br />laterals being put in. <br />
