A petition for street light. 0J0027 <br />Motion by La Vaque to send work order to N.S.P. f)r one 6000 lumen <br />light to be installed at the intersection of Hillview and Sunnyside <br />roads. Seconders by Malvin. 5 Ayes <br />The Clerk read a letter from the Engineer, (Copy on file) <br />setting forth sewer laterals to be constructe. in the Al A2 8. 81 <br />sewer areas. <br />A resolution for the Department of Highways and plans for <br />35W interchange at Highway 10 was presented by the Engineer. The <br />Clerk signed a receipt for them and they were referred to the Engineer <br />and Attorney for recommendation. (Said plans cover fence,,.lights and <br />signs only) <br />The Attorney reported that in the process of acquiring an <br />easement for Silver Lake Road extension, one property owner asked if <br />the village would want his entire parcel of 3 acres for extension of <br />Woodcrest Park. The Council advised the Attorney to accept only if <br />no cost wee involved. <br />The Attorney reported that the Moga appeal has been dropped <br />and that the final payment for that condemnation would be requested <br />soon. <br />A claim for $655.00 from Mary and Earl Strong for Sewer <br />Easement #91 was presented by the Attorney. (Arden Ave. right -of -way) <br />Motion by Blanchard to adopt Resolution <br />water assessments. Seconded by Rusted. <br />apportioning <br />5 Ayes. <br />At 9:00 P.M. the Mayor opened the public hearing for rezoning. <br />The Clerk informed the Council that the hearing was only for a portion <br />of the original request due to the failure of the petitioner to furnish <br />necessary papers in time for mailing. The Clerk then read the legal <br />notice and verified the publishing and mailing of same. Mr. C. Larson, <br />developer, answered several questions regarding lot sizes and apart- <br />ment sizes. <br />The Mayor callers three times for objectors. There were none. <br />The Mayor closed the hearing. <br />Motion by La Vaque to rezone The East 6 of the West 6 of the <br />Northeast k of the Ncrthwest I of Section 8, Township 30, Range 23, <br />from R1A to R3 subject to submission and approval of building permit. <br />Seconded by Rusted. 5 Ayes. <br />Mr. Meyers presented copies of a memo prepareā¢+ by him for the <br />Police Civil Service Commission, which was discussed. <br />Motion by Blanchard to approve licenses requested. (List <br />attached) Seconders by Rustar. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to pay bills submitted totaling $71,762.55. <br />(Incluree $655.00 fcr easement #91) Seconded by La Vaque. 5 Ayes. <br />Motion by Blanchard to allow Sunrise Methodist Church Cnuples <br />Club the use of the Village Hall on saturday April 3 from 8:00 P.M: to <br />
